In detail
The outdoors one. Forest Green is a flat British-racing sort of green that stops looking like kit and starts looking like gear the moment it sits on a rock. Underneath, it is the full VESPRA V1: a real 19-bar espresso, thick crema, from a device that heats its own water and runs off its own battery. No kettle. No socket. No queue.
Why it is different from every other travel espresso maker
Most portable espresso makers ask you to bring hot water. The V1 doesn't. A 7800 mAh lithium cell heats the water and drives the pump, so the only thing you add is water — cold from a tap, a bottle, or a stream. That is the whole point on a campsite.
Battery, honestly
We would rather give you the real numbers than a marketing one. On a full charge you get roughly 3–4 heated shots from room-temperature water, 2 from ice-cold water, and around 200 if you pour in water that is already hot and use the pump only. Heating is what costs energy. Near a kettle or a thermos, the V1 runs all day.
How to use it
The one thing that trips people up: the portafilter has to be screwed on firmly. A loose seal cannot hold 19 bar, and the machine simply will not brew. Nine support emails out of ten are solved by tightening it.

Good to know before you fly
The 28.08 Wh battery is well under the 100 Wh limit airlines allow, so the V1 travels in carry-on baggage. Lithium batteries are never permitted in checked luggage — keep it in the cabin.
Vertuo capsules do not fit. The V1 takes Nespresso® Original-line capsules and the many compatible capsules made for that format.

Is it real espresso?
A 19-bar pump pushes the water through the coffee. That pressure is what makes the crema.

Pour in cold water and hold the button for 2 seconds: it heats it, about 4 minutes for 50 ml.

Which capsules fit?
Nespresso®*-compatible capsules. For ground coffee, use the dedicated adapter, supplied with the tamping spoon.
Single or double?
50 ml of water gives about 40 ml of espresso; 70 ml gives about 60 ml.
Can I make several in a row?
Yes. With hot water each extraction takes about a minute. Heating cold water, allow 4 minutes per 50 ml espresso.
How do I clean it?
Run clean water through without a capsule. The adapters and cup come apart and rinse. Never submerge the body of the machine.
Can I take it on a plane?
Yes, in the cabin only: its 28.08 Wh battery is below the 100 Wh limit. Never in the hold. Check your airline’s rules.
What if it doesn’t work?
Write to us before sending anything back. Most issues (a portafilter not screwed tight, a battery that needs a full charge) are solved in one email.
