About

We got tired of bad coffee in good places.

The best cup of coffee we ever had was on a roadside in the Pyrenees. The worst was in a five-star hotel in Frankfurt. Location has never had much to do with it — equipment has.

VESPRA exists for one reason: espresso is a pressure problem, and pressure is portable. Once you accept that, there is no good argument for accepting instant coffee at a campsite, a lukewarm Americano at a conference, or whatever the office machine has been doing since 2019.

The V1 is our first product. It does three things a travel coffee maker usually can't: it reaches 19 bar, it heats its own water, and it accepts both capsules and ground coffee. It weighs 802 grams and it does not need a wall socket. It comes in five finishes, and each one has its own page so you see the machine you are actually buying — not a stock photo of a different colour.

Who we are

We are Luka Tassan and Nadji Oubennour. Two people, no call centre. We are based in China, close to the factory that builds the V1 — which is deliberate: it means we can walk in, check a production run, and argue about a seal in person rather than over email.

We answer our own messages. If something arrives broken, tell us and we will fix it.
