Third portable machine I've tried and the first that makes something I'd actually call espresso. Proper crema, not the thin stuff. The four minutes of heating felt long the first time, then you just plan around it.
Portable espresso · 19 bar
Espresso that travels.
A 19-bar espresso maker that heats its own water and runs on its own battery. Capsule or ground. Anywhere you happen to be standing.
€99 · was €139 · free EU shipping over €75
2-in-1
Capsules on Monday. Your own beans on Sunday.
Two adapters ship in the box. One takes Nespresso® Original capsules, the other takes ground coffee. Swap in seconds.
Self-heating
No kettle required.
Every other portable espresso maker asks you to arrive with hot water. This one heats it — about 4 minutes for a single, 8 for a double, from cold.
Battery
The numbers, unrounded.
3–4 heated shots per charge from room-temperature water. 2 from ice water. Around 200 if you bring your own hot water.
We publish the real figures because you'd find them out on day one anyway.
In the box
Everything, first time.
No adapter sold separately. Both brewing adapters, the tamping spoon, the travel cup, the USB-C cable and a cleaning cloth. It all pulls apart and rinses under a tap.
Colours
Five finishes.
Midnight Black · Alpine White · Espresso Red · Forest Green · Roasted Brown. Same machine, same 19 bar.

Ordered the green one half expecting the colour to be off. It's exactly the shade in the photos, matte and a bit darker than it looks on a phone screen. Feels heavier in the hand than I expected, which I mean as a compliment.
Arrived double-boxed, every part in its own compartment, nothing rattling around. Slightly more cardboard than strictly necessary, but I'd take that over a dented machine.
Ordered Tuesday evening, tracking link Wednesday, at my door Friday morning. I had budgeted a week and a half.
Checkout took about a minute with Apple Pay and no account to create, which I appreciate more than I should. Ninety-nine euros isn't nothing, but both adapters are in the box — the one I nearly bought instead charges extra for the ground coffee basket.
Mine wouldn't brew on the first go. Emailed late at night, had a reply the next morning telling me to screw the portafilter down harder. That was the whole problem. Nice to get an actual answer instead of a form letter.
